Presenting Miss Belize vying for Miss Costa Maya International 2014
The International Costa Maya Festival is happy to announce its fifth delegate vying for the title of Miss Costa Maya International 2014.
Grisel Rosseli Carballo, will be vying for the title of Miss Costa Maya International on Thursday, August 7, 2014, in La Isla Bonita, San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye, Belize. The 22 year old Belizean beauty loves Dancing, Community Service, Working with Children, & Hosting. Grisel previously represented Belize at La Diosa Maya Internacional 2013 in Merida, Yucatan where she captured the crown, Belize’s first for that pageant.
Gricel, is now the fifth contestant announced for the coveted title of Miss Costa Maya International. She joins Miss Honduras, Miss El Salvador, Miss Panama, & Miss Nicaragua.
Let’s give Gricel a warm welcome when she arrives to La Isla Bonita in company of the other Miss Costa Maya International delegates on Thursday, July 31 2014.

PRESS RELEASE – Belize Pageant Updates
We are pleased to announce that Miss Belize for La Reina de la Costa Maya 2014 pageant is 22 year-old Grisel Rosseli Carballo of Orange Walk Town. Grisel previously represented Belize at La Diosa Maya Internacional 2013 in Merida, Yucatan where she captured the crown, Belize’s first for that pageant.
Grisel is currently a University of Belize student, where she majors in Business Management. She is also the Director for Public Relations for the Rotaract Club in Orange Walk. Grisel considers herself a community activist for women and children; and also an ambassador as she has always done her part to help promote the country and the Mayan culture on a regional level.
The pageant will be held once again in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize on Thursday, August 7th, 2014 during the International Costa Maya Festival. The pageant will air live on Channel 5, as well as streamed live over the internet. Belize will compete against delegates from the other Central American countries and Mexico. The delegates are expected to be in Belize from July 31st to August 8th.
We wish Grisel all the best and we know that she has a very good chance of keeping the Costa Maya crown in Belize. Destinee Dominique Arnold, of Belize, was crowned La Reina de la Costa Maya Internacional 2013, earning Belize the crown for the third time.
